My name is Kaitlin, also known as Katie Cakes! As a food addicted, overweight woman, in January of 2012, I began to share my interactions with food through writing to capture my journey as I transformed my body and my life. Living in the fast paced world of New York City, I candidly began to confess how I went from fat to fit and learned how to balance a healthy lifestyle, and a busy schedule, along with a career in corporate America. With the support of Weight Watchers® and a commitment to an active and healthy lifestyle, I dropped 40 lbs. and got into the best shape of my life! Once I arrived at my goal weight, it was time for the journey of losing weight and the purpose of this blog to take a different route as I began to maintain the new healthy me. I realized my purpose is to help others live their healthiest life possible, that’s why I created Katie Cakes Living.
